Poem 03
Atlas of Small Rooms
A domestic map, drawn in lamplight.
Here is the chair that knows your coat,
the lamp that keeps a private sun.
A city folded in a note:
the kettle, and the day, undone.
Maps are only walls with names.
This room is truer, inch by inch—
a continent of ordinary flames,
a country you can almost pinch.
