Poem 01
Lantern Season
An evening walk, lit from the inside.
Paper moons along the lane,
a hush of amber, slow as tea.
The night forgets its heavier name
and walks beside you, quietly.
Windows bloom. A bicycle ticks.
Someone laughs from a kitchen door.
You keep the hour like a wick—
small, and warm, and asking more.
